BIBLE READING IN ONE YEAR: Chronicles 12:1
Yesterday we considered that the man who has received the gift of Christ’s work of salvation for mankind is now a child of God and must take responsibility for his Father’s work on earth, which is in tandem with God’s purpose for his life.
There is no child of God who truly receives the gift of salvation through Jesus that will not be passionate about the advancement and expansion of his Father’s kingdom on earth. How can you claim to be a son of God if you’re not passionate about Him and His work on earth?
In fact, a true child of God does not need to be forced into fellowship with his Father in a consistent Bible study, prayer life and Christian stewardship. Because now that you claim to be born of God, you must see the value of that which He did for you when He came to the earth to deliver you from the bondage of sin and death.
The following are some of the responsibilities of one who is truly born of God and has been transformed into sonship:
1. You must be passionate about personal fellowship with God your Father (Psalms 63:1–4; Psalm 81:1–3).
2. You must be passionate about preaching and advancing the gospel for soul-winning and kingdom expansion.
3. You must be committed to ensuring the accurate teaching of God’s word, with testimonies that impact lives.
4. You must be determined and committed to seeing God’s people come into their inheritance and the accurate understanding of their sonship.
5. You must desire and sustain a life of excellence and purity that draw others to Christ Jesus.
These are kingdom values that must be visible in every child of God that will project them as light of the world and custodian of solution to every issues of life. The values also enhance their victory in every challenges that confront them. Do you have these values?
Jesus was zealous for His Father’s work, even at an early age He went about His Father’s business (Luke 2:49; John 2:17). Do you have a zeal as a child of God?

Father, grant me grace to be a responsible child with Kingdom values to impact my world.
