Welcome to Pastoral Council
The Pastors in obedience to Jesus Christ our Lord is a member of the body of Christ, called by God and the church and set apart by ordination respectively to preach the word, to guide and nurture the christian community towards full response to God’s self disclosure.
A Pastor shall be an example of the flocks of God by keeping him/herself free from all worldly entanglements and above reproach in all manner of conduct and finance. It is the Pastors duty to preach the word, to exercise prayerfully and diligently oversight of the church, watching for souls thereof as one that must give account; and to seek earnestly the salvation of the lost, that in all things he may be approved unto God.
We are committed to being holy people of God in the world and to build His church by world wide evangelism, discipleship and multiplication of growing church, all to the glory of God ( Matthew 28:18-20; 1 Peter 2:9-10).

• To participate in the church work of serving humanity and bringing all people to God.

• To serve as a vehicle through which all members of pastoral community may share ideas and actions concerning the church and the management of the church.

• To function by keeping aware of the needs, both spiritual and temporal of the members.

• To develop and implement programs designed to fulfill these needs.

• To encourage initiation of individual members or groups who seek to promote the goal of the council.

• Overseeing and directing the administration of the council.

• To review periodically the progress of Pastoral actions taken.
MHID Pastors council had been in existence since the inception of the district with 3 ordained Pastors, but became fully active in 2021 during the time of our present District Chairman Sp. Ap. Prophet Dr.Solomon Odulaja with Sp.Ap. Pastor Ademola Animashaun as the District Supervising Pastor and Sp/MII Pastor Eniola Otovo as the secretary, in 2021 the number of ordained Pastors increase to 5. To the glory of God we are now having 17 ordained Pastors in total in the District, and many Pastors in training in theology school.

Present Event
International Pastor's Convention and Conference for all ordained Pastors and Pastors in training. It is essential for all to attend the convention.
Date: 9th - 12th September, 2025
Past Events
- 12 members of the council were ordained in 2024 at the National Conference at Galilee Land, Oyo State — both from Nigeria and the diaspora.
- Series of training and seminars were held on Zoom for both ordained Pastors and Pastors in training.
- Annual seminar and training held on March 22nd and 29th, 2025 via Zoom with over 53 attendees. All ministries in the fold were present. Topic: “Sensitizing the Pulpit and Biblical Exposition.”
